A Day in the Life...

Mark snapped this picture yesterday--it is just a cute snapshot of what our days are like lately. Karamea is doing really well and is a very happy baby overall. She is sleeping well and is getting used to the idea of solid food. She is also discovering different sounds and babbling up a storm as we get dinner ready. With the exception of a few wobbles, she is pretty much sitting up on her own now, too.

We headed up to the mountains last weekend for a German Immersion Trip with some of my students and had a great time. Nine teachers brought about 100 students and they all did a pretty good job of speaking in German as much as possible. It was fantastic to have Mark and Karamea along--two nights apart would have been hard for me! Unfortunately, we didn't take any pictures--the weather was bad and we didn't really have time to do anything between all of the activities that the students were doing. It felt like I was constantly running back and forth...good exercise, I guess!
