Wow, Kaylee is changing every day right now. She turned 6 months on Monday and started sitting on her own in the last day or two. She's rolling and scooting herself pretty much anywhere she wants to go and is generally content to play on her own on the living room floor. She has really developed a great sense of humor too. Her coos and raspberries have turned into babbling and she is quite the vocal little gal. Kaylee loves her big sister and just lights up when Karamea comes over to give her a kiss. She still wakes up once or twice (usually twice) a night to eat, but sleeps pretty well. Her favorite toy right now is a kids' sized hula hoop and she loves all of the crinkly baby toys.
We had her 6 month checkup today and it went really well. We told Karamea last night that Kaylee was going to have a doctor appointment and Karamea was looking forward to it all day. She was really excited to see Dr. Susie (and so were we--she's a great doctor and we all adore her!)

She is so big! I love it! I just want to squeeze her cheeks. How does she compare to Karamea when she was 6 months? Go Kaylee!
It's hard to believe it's been 6 months already. She seems like such a happy baby. Glad you're all enjoying her so much.
