Kaylee at 7 Months*

Life has been hectic around our house lately; all of the typical responsibilities at school plus all day teaching seminars for me two Saturdays in a row have kept me away from blogging and from much of anything, really. We did manage to go on a walk last Sunday morning while the sun was still shining and enjoyed playing in the leaves in the park. The weather changed that afternoon, bringing cooler temperatures and our first snow of the season just a few days later.
Here's the quick list of what's changed since I last posted:

• Kaylee is crawling! She started around the beginning of the month--just as she turned seven months old! In addition to crawling, she is pulling herself up to standing on anything she can. (Which has us in awe because Karamea didn't crawl until she was 8-9 months old!)
• Kaylee got her first tooth (and has another on the way!)
• Both girls started swimming lessons again and are enjoying splashing around two nights a week (making very jam-packed weeknights!)

I'm sure hoping that things calm down after my seminar tomorrow. Just seven more days of classes until Thanksgiving break! Oh, and on a reflective note, it occurred to me that yesterday marks one year since we had Kaylee's first ultrasound and found out that we had another girl on the way. So much has changed since then...but that's a whole other post, for some other time. There's a lot to be said, and I need time to really delve into my thoughts on that topic...
