We're spending a few days in Kodiak before heading out to the fishing site and have had the chance to experience Kodiak's annual crab festival down by the boat harbor. The theme this year is "Rain or Shine" and we have had a lot of rain and a little bit of shine. There are a lot of activities, some carnival rides, and really good (but expensive) food.
Karamea gave the fish and chips her approval. :)
